Vondelpark is named after the poet and playwright Joost van den Von Dell and stretches from the Singelgracht to Amstelveenseweg. This park is a great place to enjoy a picnic or a quiet stroll and is popular with both tourists and Amsterdammers.

During the summer Vondelpark has a wide range of entertainment to offer visitors, including an open-air theatre on Sunday afternoons. Apart from official events, the park features a wealth of jugglers, buskers and street performers to entertain and amuse.
